I’m not the ones for personal attacks man, but when some bitch do something like this, I cannot take it. Like what the fuck is her problem I don’t get it. She went to the trouble of purposely inviting my friend to read her fucking stuck up lousy piece of blog shit just so that she can show off. Show off what I dunno. Pre-swotvac blues
I think I’m going crazy with all the studying. For some reason I thought it’s gonna be Monday. And have to go clinic. Hence I diligently did all my self-assessments for the week since we will be having a review for the year as it will be my last clinic session, yay! Though I like treating patients, but I really want more time to study lol. And then I realised, it’s Saturday. Still have to go to library tomorrow to study. Sigh. I feel like such a nerd. Haven’t been so hardworking. But like I said, “zhe shi wo you shen yi lai zui nan de kao shi” (hardest exams yet in my entire life). Does not sound good at all. Hence I decided I really need to buckle up, cannot cramp last minute like last time (though not much difference) but I started like way earlier than previous years, so I hope it’s gonna help. I know luck alone will not get me through, so I am trying to study hard lo! Just that it’s hard cause there’s so much of everything and people’ve been telling me stuff about previous exams, like lots of people fail this la etc etc. Damn scary wei. Okla. Gonna study now. Update more when I go crazy again. Bye

Why didn’t I study hard before? WHYYYYYY? Plox plox let me pass 4th year! Have a feeling that praying alone will not get me anywhere. Gotta study. Bye.
Online studying
Don’t you love it when notes are like soooooo fun and stimulating and that you actually enjoyed learning? Normally there’s no such luck for me, any form of words outside the lines of jokes, clothes and makeup bore me to death. But recently found a website, it’s a blog actually, written by an endodontist. The dental related posts in there are really entertaining, and for the first time I actually bother reading journals cited in the post to learn more about what the endodontist is talking about. The irony when I saw a citation for invasive cervical resoprtion by Prof Heithersay. I remembered I barely skimmed through it while he was giving the lecture, fearing that my name will be called for the question presentation. Cause I turned up late from endo clinic, I actually managed to skip that bit (apparently Jo got called? bad bad luck) so I stopped reading lol. Anyway, I better go back and do more studying. With the site I mean, because I’ll probably die of ‘paper overload’ if I actually look at our endo notes for the exam. Bah FML.
Mid Autumn Fest + Viv’s Bday
Aww, my holidays are coming to an end, but it was a really great one though. Celebrated Mid Autumn Fest in Elder’s Park, the crowd was massive. Most kids were holding cute lanterns! We bought some cheap paper ones from China Town’s Kim Wang, and bought some weird candles. But alas, forgot the matches. So we had to scramble around the park to look for someone with a light. To our surprise, most people have those electrical ones. And also even the paper ones were ‘electrified’, those people put portable lights where the candle would sit >.< So I came up with a great idea of placing my phone in it. LOL. Didn’t work very well though. Anyway, thank God there was one angmoh who walk passed us with a candle lit lantern (ya I know, the irony, all the chinese walking around with lightbulb ones) and we quickly chased them down to ‘borrow the flame’. The wind was super crazy, we were so scared it’s gonna blow off our candle. Luckily we managed to set our lantern up after some crazy oohh and ahhh moments.

Went back that night to celebrate Viv’s birthday. She once said she didn’t want a cheesecake (at that time was Xyn’s and Mich’s thing cos they keep baking cheesecakes like there’s no tomorrow) for her birthday. She just want coronas (her much faved beer). So a few google search found some promising Corona cakes, but all seems quite hard. There’s one with a bucket of ice and a few coronas stuck into the ice and the ice was supposingly jello. And a cake was supposingly hidden at the bottom of the bucket, I don’t know if you can imagine it, but it looks so damn hard. So we ingeniously modified it to a cake shaped jello instead, corona flavoured. It was hard cooking it, cause we weren’t too sure, we just made it up on the spot. It smelled real bad when we were cooking too, kinda doubtful if it’s gonna work. But thank god it worked, and tasted quite nice too!! Mmmmmmmm…. Decoration was easy, we just snap choco bars and melt some chocolate and wrote on it, writing was so damn hard, paiseh lah, it does look kinda ugly. But it’s the effort that counts right? Anyway, we’re really proud that it turned out well ^^.
