Happy Birthday Ying Ying + other stuff

s0hMood > *Celebrations*

Shoutout: Happy Birthday Ying Ying! Hope you have a greatttt and memorable 2Xth ^^.

Feels like I haven’t been blogging for soooo long. Or shall I say, it’s not just feels like, but it really has been long? Lol. Sorry, my life is real uninteresting lately. Except for yesterday and the day before. Did a string of random stuff. Highlights were as such: I can’t believe I missed the bus TWICE trying to get to the city on a very impromptu night out. I beat Viv in pool and Viv I really no cheat you, it’s my first win EVER! Casino is Wendy’s second home. Viv has found a new love – Retail therapy ^^. And I of course have renewed love on shopping, as always. Wait till you guys see her in her new vest yea, me and YY picked it. We’re like a proud mother being very very satisfied. It really is a good buy Viv, let me convince you again just in case if you are already regretting it. It’s a GOOD buy ok! That’s about the highlights on half of my holidays. The rest are all spent on Facebook, The Simpsons, and some random Stephen Chow movies. I have no life T____T

Omg, I reallyyyyyy hate Vista’s JPG thumbnails layout. Like seriously lor, I have to like click and actually view them in another program. Which is so damn annoying! Before I could have just preview them in thumbnails right away and hence totally speeds up the progress of picking which pics I want, which not etc. Like it’s super irritating to click into the viewer, scan through pics, stop and see what number the freaking pic is, go back to the other window and delete. Get me? Adding pics to FB and WordPress now becomes such a pain! So much work for such simple things! Why must they go complicate it like that. And there’s like noooo option to view them in film strips. Sigh. Sigh. Triple sigh. But that’s the only thing I hate about Vista really.

Anyway, random pics taken from phone from dunno when. Pardon the crappy quality, it’s the big picture that counts right? Pun intended. Here goes:

Banana Split from Gelatisimo - me and Wendy took so damn long to decide which flavours we want n then realise, they're prefixed - SO NOOB

Holy SHIT

s0hMood > *tired*

I had the worsttttttt ever bus ride of my life today. If you think this is some stupid rant like, oh no seats left, or like oh no, someone’s breast feeding in the bus (which I think is uncool by the way, nothing against it, just that at least have the decency to cover up a lil, it’s kind of hard not to watch you know? Not like I’ m a pervert or anything, it’s just plain awkward…). It’s more like, someone pooped his/her pants. Wtfish. I actually hesitated before taking that seat, sigh should have follow my gut feeling because that passenger did look a bit like a bum, but I thought, don’t judge a book by it’s cover you know? I have always tried to sit next to girls, preferably Asians, but aunties or grandma have to be Caucasian lolol -again nothing against them, just that I feel more comfortable that way, I don’t like to invade other people’s personal space, especially when I’m not sure if they will be ok with it. I know it’s stupid and I think too much, it’s just a freaking bus ride, but aiya, I’m like that so how????? Anyway, before I digress further, SO I braved myself and sat down, feeling like the mostttt undiscriminating/unjudgemental person ever, JUST to knock the words right back down my throat. I totally regretted seating there OMFG! At first I smell something strong, like those oil essence thing, which I also hate by the way. That must have came from the woman in front. When I held my head straight though, wahsai, I literally smell ‘sai’ which means shit in my ancestral dialect. Uh oh, alarm bells ringing – someone pooped his/her pants. Sighness. How la? Why got people like that la you tell me? Don’t even bother to like clean up? Zzzzz. They say putting on make up is a sign of respect to others, I say making sure you don’t smell like shit surely trumps the list, no? It was like a whaft of smelliness then a swift of overpowering essence smell, and when mixed together, is totally strong enough to kill an elephant. I’m just a very mere human ok, why torture me like thattttt? I was feeling so dizzy, wanted to puke at one stage. Decided to like comfort/control myself by tilting my head to the side, listening to songs and close my eyes. My theory is, if I fall asleep then I won’t smell anything right? Obviously that didn’t work. I did contemplate getting off the bus and wait for the next one, but I really can’t be bothered. I know it would have been wayyyyy easier to just swap places, but I didn’t dare too. I don’t like to insult other people this way, even though in this case, he/she probably deserved it – I was almost fainting ok? I felt it’s a bit rude, and the politeness in me (seriously why did it choose to come out TODAY, of ALL DAYS FFS?) just forced myself to stay put. After an excruciating period of time which felt like hours, the person finally got down the bus, I was like, PRAISE THE LORD. But the place stilllll smell after, albiet not as strong, but still damn horrible. So I quickly switched places. And in a matter of minutes, I fell asleep and by the time I woke up, it’s SUPER near my stop. Luckily I didn’t miss it. Phew!

Newbie on Air Asia

s0hMood > *fat*

Hello world! I’m back in Adelaide, like I said, reluctantly. Anyway – I have sooo many things to do, and blog. Thought I shall start with the most recent one cause the rest are mostly just pictures, which can be found in FB, so words first.

For the first time, I took Air Asia back and it was, ekhem, unexpected I believe is the most fitting word. I had a lot of luggage (only had 15 kg luggage allowance) and so it was kind of annoying dragging the hand luggages all across the runway to board the plane. That was painful! It’s so damn far away ok and UP the flight of stairs, it was hell! The wonders of an air bridge! KLIA wins a mile in this! But in terms of price, Air Asia definitely wins hands down!

Then into the plane, first glance, the seats are damn small la. They’re like a bit smaller than conventional MAS and SIA ones. They have the 3 3 3 seats arrangement instead of 2 3 2. Lucky for us (I was travelling with a coussie) there wasn’t much people on the flight (according to a dude on the chatroom, 100+ only) and so the seats are empty so 2 of us took up 3 seats. And then it was wide as! Imagine having to cramp though, would have been horrible really. And the seats are reclinable in a special way. You don’t go backwards, rather the seat slides forward. So in a way you are reclining at you own expense of the leg space. I like that man! Everytime I’m on those MAS flights, those damn people always recline their freaking seat until I have no space to even place down the tray and the TV is practically IN my face. Uncivillised people, talk about tolerance tsk tsk tsk. Speaking of TV, the entertainment in Air Asia cost 30 ringgit/13 Aud but it still isn’t as great as MAS ones. MAS wins even though MAS has crappy entertainment too.

The food, hmm. Hard to comment on cos they’re equally shit (SIA is much MUCH better). Portion in Air Asia is smaller though – but they do have other snacks that you can purchase like 1901 hotdogs for 9 ringgit each, omg YUM! And MAS food has more variety I suppose, with bread and salad and what’s not. Oh by the way, outside food are not allowed in Ais Asia – there goes my thought of buying a prosperity burger meal lol. That would have been heavenly though!

Oh did I mention that I was flying on an airbus?!!! Though I couldn’t feel the difference la, but it’s still an airbus! Boeing sucks! (for no apparent reason lol). But it did ony take less than 8 hours to Melb. So 1 more flag for Air Asia! The air stewardess. First of all, let me just say SIA ones are definitely THE BEST (in terms of appearance, service etc), but I think MAS deserves a second except for the occasional rude ones who think her father owns the plane. Other than that, definitely a clean second. Air Asia stewardess has a damn ugg red uniform and they don’t tie up their hair, which I think is rather unhygienic, especially those damn long ones, like down to almost waist length. Imagine finding one of those in your nasi lemak. Ewww. And like when they bend over to like serve you food and having their hair brush across your face! That might have been a turn on if I was some old ah peks, but it’s just kind of gross, I mean, I do not know when is the last time you wash your hair right? And this isn’t aim towards all of them, but the head air stewardess has a damn weird tone of words. She was like explaining stuff over the PA system and she sounded so try hard it’s not even funny. By that I mean in like a sexy tone I supposed, but it sounded more slutty than what’s not. It’s like she added uh in a subtle way but oh so obvious after every syllabus, HOW FREAKING annoying is that? I swear I was this close to strangling her when she said “This flight is uh, D7 uh 27 uh 28”. Even my coussie was giving me that wth look, doesn’t understand a single word she’s saying.

The flight itself was ok, I mean I’m no expert in aviation so I dunno how much turbulence is considered ok and not so no comments on that except it was a safe flight. Which is important in my list. Other than that, I didn’t really have the chance to explore stuff, oh, the lavatory was smaller! But then Air Asia has newer aircrafts. Everything looks sparkly white! Overall, in terms of quality I will choose SIA first la, then MAS then only Air Asia. But if the price is considered, then maybe Air Asia or MAS first cause SIA is always so expensive T-T. Anyway, I think I didn’t leave out anything so that’s it! Off to grab some food now!

Long time no see blog

s0hMood > *Hot*

Nothing much has been happening lately, so instead of boring you all with my daily do(s), I gave up blogging till something more eventful pops up. The other day we celebrated the youngest [T.A.G] member’s birthday, but the real date isn’t here yet, so that’ll be in future entries. Also, tomorrow will be attending Gil’s family X’mas eve party, so will bring more pictures next time. Oh ya, for those who don’t know, I cut my hair d. Quite short. Nevermind la, one year is enough for it to grow long again.

Waiting for concert to start

As of today, I haven’t been shopping much. Sien la. Always go shop also couldn’t find something to buy. Only manage to get one pair of flats. Anyhow, will shop more in the future. Must be fully equipped before heading back to Adelaide lo. And the purpose of this entry, is to blog about this concert I attended yesterday with Gil, Han and Bee Kee.

The stage is farrrrrrrrr away

It was a crowded affair. Fortunately we have VIP seats stands, but unfortunately, the VIP zone is very VERY WIDE. Almost every single soul present there, who has a ticket is a VIP -.-“. Anyhow, free thing is like that la. We didn’t want to squeeze into the super tight crowd in fear of smelling other people’s sweat. So we stood quite a distance from the crowd so that we have oxygen in abundance. If you watched the event on NTV7, don’t say you saw me hor, it is impossible cause the camera didn’t take image of the back of the crowd. Too disperse d, very ugly ma.

David Tao: if you see clearly, nah, the miniature man mah him lo. Haha

We didn’t get to see the artist’s face with our naked eyes because they came in mini(s). Sigh, like Barbie doll like that, super faraway, but we can still see them move here and there la, haha. And there’s two TV screens to aid our vision. And my camera also super cha, zoom till max also kenot take nice pictures, I gave up totally. Only right till the end, I tried to capture some shots la. Blur is better than nothing ma.

When some random are singing, we take random shots

Anyhow, half of the stars there I don’t know one (all from Malaysia one), another half is a more popular mix of Malaysian, Taiwanese and Hong Kong singers. Initially we said we are going to stay until we see one of the big stars, but the organizer placed them all towards the end. So we ended up staying till the last two big stars, David Tao and Stef Sun appeared. We left right after their duet to avoid high traffic. Overall the concert was quite fun la, we spent time enjoying and critiquing singers we like and don’t recognize. We also had a good laugh on weird groups with weird songs, what “Wo tai shuai, shuo yi bu hui tan lian ai” (I’m too good looking, hence not knowing how to date/love), super wtfish.

Stef Sun: singing Hey Jude with David Tao

Lastly, most of the singers sing quite well la, except the cutesy girl. Stef Sun improved a lot from her performance in recent awards show, she sang really well, probably the best of the night la, though Grasshopper also gave a nice performance. Actually the only advantage of watching it live, is the sound and extra interview sessions during commercial breaks. The funniest one is Zai Zai’s one la, the rest all so so oni. Because the hosts kept coming up with real random so-called games. First Zhang Dong Liang was asked to point towards the crowd then the pointed group need to raise their hands la. Then Zai Zai was later asked to do the same, but the pointed group will need to flash their handphone lights. After he pointed the first time, he then asked sheepishly, “Na zhe you xi de yi yi zai na li?” (The meaning behind this game being?). Haha.

Zai Zai – Wo Bu Shi F4

David Tao – Jiu Shi Ai

I took some random videos, er, cannot see face one, only sound. Haha, those who have watched it on TV prolly won’t be interested at all. Quality also not so good. I include it just for my own record hehe. Kla, more entries next time. Chao~
